Veteran's Care

Veteran's Care

Mercy-Link Healthcare provides in- home care for Veterans through the VA’s Aid & Attendance benefit, which pays individuals for the in-home care they need to live independently and comfortably. Veterans, spouses of veterans, spouse, and surviving spouses of veterans who are homebound or require assistance with their daily activities from another person may qualify for this payment if they meet certain criteria. The benefit can also cover veterans who are independent but have an ill spouse. What is VA Aid of Attendant Benefit? Veterans have sacrificed to serve the nation. VA aid of attendant is a pension that they have earned as part of that sacrifice. In their time of need, it time for us to serve them. With more than one third of Americans that are wartime veterans, many families could be benefitting from available assistance to help pay for quality care.
